Tasting Notes for 1998 Miner Viognier

Excellent, but in the spirit of full disclosure I should admit that I am a viognier nut. An extremely pleasant wine. Minty nose. Palate shows garden mint, spearmint, hard apple cider, and some oak. Medium to light body with light, estery flavors. Dry champagne in the finish. Marvelous. Served alongside seafood meal. Bottle cost $17. [April 2000]
