Aberlour "a'bundadh"

Distillery bottling, 59.6% a.b.v.

Nose shows heavily-liqueured fruitcake, cinnamon toast, warm butter, candied fruits. With water, Turkish Delight. The palate is hot with rosewater, cinnamon, orange spice tea, and mint. The finish shows red wine casks and "Big Red" chewing gum. With water, the palate is sweeter initially and more woody (wood chips). Notes of cocoa powder also emerge. I am quite fond of this malt.

Suggested for: After dinner
