Why pay more?

Why pay the regular price of 2 for 99¢ when you can pay the discounted price: 2 for 99¢ (or, to be fair, you may be paying 2 for $99 today, which at least is a different price.)

Two for 99 cents, marked down to 2 for 99 cents.
