The choice is pretty clear: Goldkit vs. Cash4Gold
Answer to What We Pay For Gold at GoldKit:
The first question many people ask us is: What is the price you will pay for my scrap gold? To answer this, we need to weigh and evaluate your items. […] The amount of your check will depend on this evaluation.
And Prices We Pay at Cash4Gold?

So they’re not world-shattering prices, but I think I’d recommend the known quantity, thank-you-very-much. ‘K, bye, GoldKit!

Unless GoldKit publishes their prices somewhere, or quotes them over the phone. I hate send-to-us-for-our-best-offer on commodities. It’s not like they’re evaluating condition and grade. They should be able to list their melt prices.

Question is, what prices do they pay if you send in less than 10 oz.? 10 oz. or more is a lot of gold to have laying around.

Yeah, I suppose 10oz is a lot. Hadn’t really thought about that. At spot prices, that’s about nine grand in gold, of which they’ll give you something like 70%.
What really interests me, though, are the postage-paid reply envelopes. To send in nine thousand dollars worth of gold. Really? The USPS is competent, but not that competent.

Ooh, awesome! Personal experience! Thanks, Jesse! Assuming your tale is on the level — and there is no reason to think it isn’t — you may have just put cash in my wallet. Thanks!

Just wanted to share a company that I was using for over 3 years, I’m always comparing prices and this gold broker pays the highest bucks so far. The name is US Gold Buyers, you can always check the latest prices on their site. Good Luck.
