Here in Los Angeles, the moon was unobscured by clouds, and I was able to view the entire eclipse. The moon was completely visible when I started walking home and down to a tiny sliver by the time I arrived, giving me the opportunity to grab Jaimee so we could watch it together.

Total eclipse of the heart.

Despite what the map says, the cloud cover in north central Florida was pretty spotty. The moon was obscured during part of the first half of the eclipse, but the sky cleared up once it became red.
