My internal clock was stumped

Weird experience for a day off when my wife and son were at work and school, respectively: I hugged Niall as he left, went back to sleep, and then woke up again.  I could see the LED clock readout, slightly obscured by the casing.  I couldn’t tell if it said 7:54 or 1:54, and had absolutely no idea.  I am extremely happy it was 7:54 and that I have six “extra” hours to do stuff today.

I once went to my room to take a nap at 3 PM, woke up at 5 PM, and went downstairs to rejoin the party that I’d left. No one was around. Turns out, it was 5 PM of the following day, I’d been asleep for 26 hours.

… And now you’ve heard my story about pot brownies.

How odd. Same day. I woke up, turned on the space heater, and started my morning routine. The odd look at the clock later proved it to be 3 am. I was glad to have 3 more hours to sleep!

Well, now that we’re sharing…I actually woke up once and thought I was going to be late for work, so I got up and took a shower, after that, I realized it was 1 am, not 6, like I thought it was. I couldn’t go back to sleep…also, I’m not a fan of taking afternoon naps, mainly because I might go to sleep at 6 or 7 pm, wake up an hour later, and since it’s dark, I’m convinced it’s the next morning. And this happens every time.
