Different strokes for different folks, I guess. I generally handle cooler temperatures better than hotter ones. One of the least comfortable awakenings that I've ever experienced came a Burning Man a few years back, where I woke up to discover that it was over 100°F, and it was only 11 AM, so we were still headed into the hottest part of the day. If fact, most of my stories about uncomfortable heat or cold come from Burning Man. When the sun goes down, it's not uncommon for the temperature to drop 50°F in the span of two hours. The body reacts poorly to that sort of change.

I shower in the evenings.

Cold at night is fine (I like chilling my head at night, and I use my feet as heat sinks), but 60°F has me chattering while getting dressed. My ideal morning temp is 70°F - 72°F.

I'm amazed. Josh, what do you consider to be a comfortable morning temperature? I consider 60°F to be cool enough that I still use hot water in the shower, but I start taking cold showers any time the temperature gets higher than 75°F.

Hah, I'm right (for once in my life...)

Well, I'm jealous. If I were to leave the heater off at night, it would probably be 15-25°F, depending on the night of course. But I shouldn't complain, I don't live in Minnesota. :x

I don't think that Josh was complaining about the cold; I'm pretty sure he was bragging about the weather out here. 60°F is just about the perfect morning temperature.
