So, I guess this story needs to be told….
When Joshua was about Niall’s age we were at the home of a chemist and professor of chemistry at Japan’s International University. Between the host, Dave, and me was a candle that was burning.
Joshua looked at me and asked, “Dad, what’s in a candle?”
I replied, “Ask Dave. He’ll know.”
Joshua looked at Dave who said, “Candles are made up of long-chain hydrocarbons.”
Joshua looked back at me and said, “Dave doesn’t know either!”
