Wow! You guys must be REALLY terrible at Solitaire. I play it on my T-mobile Wing which runs WM6. I win almost every game I play. And when I don't I realize that there was a play staring me in the face for a while that I didn't see and thus my mistake.

However today for the first time, I started an UNPLAYABLE game.
c=club, d=diamond, s=spade, h=heart
r=red, b=black

Jcb 7sb 10cb 5dr 2sb 2dr Jsb

So no move there. I'm using 3 cards dealt.

I'm dealt the following top cards for each 3 dealt.

7cb
Qdr
Kdr
3sb
4dr
3hr
8sb
Qhr

That's it! Not a single move can be made!!! Awesome :) And I had been curious if this was a possibility. You'd think there could be an algorithm which would at least prevent an unplayable game (notice I didn't say unwinnable). That shouldn't be too tough. 7 cards stack and 8 cards dealt to run all the possibilities and find one move isn't possible. - Lame!

I've been trying to figure out the scoring rules. I've won about five or six games thus far. I've got this:

The line's formula is -15.54 * (time in seconds) + 7218 … almost. I expect it's more complex than that, but that is suggestively linear.

Yesterday, I got to a point where I just needed to add one more king to a pile to win the game. I set the phone down and went to lunch. When I got back, 3000 seconds had elapsed and the score had gone to zero. I stacked the king, and got 115 points for the move. So we can be pretty sure that your score will never be less than zero. I think 115 might be the lowest score one can get and still win — unless it would have been less than 115 points if, say, 6000 seconds had gone by.

If you have time/score pairs, post them here and we can add more sample points.

Yeah what is up with WM5 solitaire?!? It's got to be the hardest game of solitaire ever.... I win about probably.... 1 out of every 20 or 30 hands dealt... but the score rarely resets to 0 and nor does the time.. where do we find the rules for this bizarre game?!
