But at least you have good hearing.
Invite your friends who say CDs are lossy and play them a tone of 22050 Hz. Ask them if they can hear it. Then ask them just how fast they think a mechanical stylus can shake. With a great D-to-A, CDs kick the collective ass of vinyl any day.
